Things
I’m extremely stressed out. I dropped off a prescription at CVS on Saturday. I don’t normally go there but the pharmacy on base didn’t have the IUI injection, Walgreen’s doesn’t take Tricare PRIME anymore, and Walmart didn’t have it. CVS was my closest option. They told me they had to order it and that it would be ready Monday after 3. I show up Monday and...

Monday Check-in
Working on: A delicious bowl of unhealthy cereal.
Thinking about: The pages I need to read for comp 1 tonight. 759-819. Fml.
Anticipating: My ultrasound on Friday. Hoping for healthy wittle follicles so I can ovulate n’ shit.
Listening to: Patrick.
Drinking: Nothing.
Wishing: It was Friday.
Obsessing over: Friday.
Anonymous asked: I apologize for the anonymity, I don't have a tumblr account and didn't see an email address to message you. I understand and appreciate your answer and respect (so much) your ferocity to become a mother. I really and truly hope you're able to do so soon, (and again in the future!) I'll send good vibes your way.
Anonymous asked: I know you say that you're mentally, physically, and financially ready for children, (and I have no doubt that you are) but why not wait and gain some life experience before having a child? Why not establish a career, travel, gain independent experiences (with your husband) so that you have more wisdom to impart to your children? Or more than that, have experiences and accomplishments that...

Oklahoma Senate Passes Personhood Act, Effectively... →
mistylloyd:
The Republican dominated Oklahoma Senate has overwhelmingly passed Senate Bill 1433, also known as the Personhood Act, by a vote of 34-8.
The bill would define life as beginning at conception, effectively banning all abortions and many forms of contraception. The bill would also ban women from getting an abortion if they are raped because there are no exceptions in it. In other...

stridess asked: That white top strapless bathing suit you posted is so cute. Where did you get it?
Anonymous asked: Are you still gonna wear those suits when you're pregnant? ;)

Things I don't like about Clomid.
It makes me nauseous.
Headaches.
Bloating.
Makes my period cramps 10x worse.
No appetite.
It will all be worth it in the end. I forgot to mention I have a 10% higher chance of having twins now. Did I mention how many sets of twins are in my family? I’m screwed.

Monday check-in:
Working on: Just watching Emily, watching Pit bulls and Parolees, and eating a banana.
Thinking about: Class tonight, the paper that’s due, cramps, and how much cleaning I need to do before my grandparents get here at the end of the month.
Anticipating: The 24th of February (next OB/GYN appointment, ultrasound, and injection to make me ovulate so we can make babies!)
Listening to: Pit...
Starting Clomid today.
Then going in for an ultrasound on the 24th, and getting the injection to force ovulation within 24 hours. We’re hopeful. Don’t fail me now, ovaries.
mamato2boys asked: I am sorry mama. I can't imagine how you and your hubs are feeling right now. I know it gets old, but it will be ok and everything will work out in the long run. Some things in life are worth it and you becoming a mama will all be worth it one day I promise. I am sending you a virtual hug!

You know what's really disappointing?
Busting my ass to get Tricare to give me a referral to see my OB/GYN so I can get an ultrasound done.
Wasting money on pregnancy tests/time getting blood tests done.
Anticipating a period for the last three weeks and getting it less than 24 hours before my doctor’s appointment. AFTER WAITING THREE WEEKS FOR THIS APPOINTMENT.
Seeing how sad Patrick looks after telling him I am definitely...

Took Toby for a long walk.
Just around the neighborhood, but it’s 1.2 miles. Not bad for his out of shape butt. Not bad at all.
deadbooks:
I crawled up your spine and nestled in the safest, most broken part of you. I made it my job to mend you with my fingers and the warmth of my body. I promise to never leave if you don’t.
Anonymous asked: What ever happened to the possible baby talk? I love hearing about all of it.

about to rip my hair out.
Isabella is a monster today. I don’t know why she’s in such a bad mood, but she won’t stop screaming. I laid her down an hour ago, she slept for 30 minutes, then woke up screaming. I rocked her to sleep, laid her back down, and then two seconds later, she’s screaming again. I’ve been letting her “cry” it out for ten minutes now and she sounds like...

First time.
Putting Isabella in the pack n’ play during nap time. I usually just hold her, which I know is bad, but I get nervous she will stop breathing or something. This isn’t even my kid and I have anxiety just thinking about it. She’s in the room next to me, and I have the door cracked, but I’m just nervous.
1 nine month old, 2 15 month olds, and a 4 year...

Monday check-in:
Working on: Research paper for COMP 1.
Thinking about: How I wish it was 5pm, so these kids could go home already. They both have double ear infections. Why are they even here?! Ugh.
Anticipating: My ultrasound. I really just want to know, dammit.
Listening to: Yo Gabba Gabba. And babies cry.
Drinking: Lemonade.
Wishing: It was the 13th. & February 28 & March 16
Obsessing over:...
